Job Summary: NAND Flash Analog Research Team at Samsung
Overview
Samsung is a leading global player in NAND Flash Memory, holding over one-third of the market share. The SSIR research team focuses on developing analog circuits for next-generation memory products, including temperature sensors, charge pumps, high-voltage generators, oscillators, supply detectors, and current detectors.
Responsibilities:
- Innovate design solutions to enhance analog circuit performance (accuracy, power, area).
- Conduct comparative analysis of competitor circuits and architectures, benchmarking Samsung designs.
- Research literature to identify new architectures that can improve circuit performance.
- Collaborate with headquarters in Korea to establish design targets and specifications.
- Design, verify, and complete IP development for analog circuits.
Qualifications:
- Educational background: MS/ME/MTech/BTech/BE.
- 2 to 18 years of analog circuit design experience.
- Expertise in developing ADCs, DACs, oscillators, charge pumps, LDOs, bandgaps, op-amps, and comparators.
- Strong understanding of deep submicron processes, circuit design issues, and manufacturability.
- Effective communication skills for stakeholder interaction.
- Knowledge of digital circuit design techniques (counters, timers, state machines, combinational logic).
- Commitment to project goals and focus on achieving results.
